* We had pasted flyers in shop windows, restaurants, the clinic and any other place imaginable. For our first official Community Service Project. A night for parents to drop their kids off with us, so they could go Christmas shopping, go on a date or even to just go back home and enjoy the quiet for a few hours. We were all scared and excited. And right now was about the time we realized we had gotten ourselves in way over our heads. As we watched at least 20+ kids have a snowball fight out in the field adjacent from the church that was willing to let us use it’s recreational building later. I ducked quickly as a snowball flew at me only to turn around and see that it had hit Raechel, right in the face. All movement stopped as each kid and adult gasped and stared. Raechel, slowly wiped the slush and snow off her face, she looked irritated and we all waited to see what the female Alpha was going to say. She looked over at Meghan, Jules and me. * “Ladies, I think it’s time we teach these kids what a real snowball fight is.” * The three of us breathed a sigh of relief and then grabbed snow and started throwing snowballs at any kid within throwing distance. The field erupted with giggles and screams as we ran amok, lofted snowballs and just had fun. I noticed as Tyler, Rocky, Jasper and Jackson, chuckled and shook their heads. We weren’t expecting trouble, but you could never be too careful. *

You females ready? * I was at the front door waiting for Kimiko and Kaiyo. The girls had decided that they wanted an American Christmas, complete with a fresh cut tree. I did some research and found a Christmas tree farm where we could pick and cut down the tree we wanted. I was about to call out to the girls again when they both appeared, all bundled up and ready to go. We headed out and I put the address in the GPS.* I hope you two are ready for this.

* I set in the cafe contemplating my next move with +Meghan Danvers. I was still so angry with her, but deep down I knew I wouldn't be able to walk away from her. Gawds she held my heart in the palm of her hand. I heard someone clear their throat and looked up. Margaret set down a piece of warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream on top of it. She refilled my coffee and smiled. * "You looked like you needed a little something to take your mind off what's going through that mind of yours." * I smirked. * Thank you, Margaret. I suppose I do. "I don't mean to pry, but....sometimes its just easier to swallow your pride and follow your heart. We all make mistakes." * I nodded and Margaret walked off. I picked up my fork and began to eat the pie and ice cream. Taking sips of my coffee between bites. It was mouthwatering. I took the last bite just as my phone rang. I looked at the screen and Mrs. Danvers name popped up on the screen. I stood up, stuffing my hand in my pocket, I through $10 on the table. I grabbed my phone and coat and walked out as I answered my phone. * Hello Mrs. Danvers. "I swear to you Ian, I raised my Meghan better than that. I don't know what go into her." * I chuckled. * I take it she told you what she did? "Yes she did and I'm appalled, ashamed even. You can't leave her Ian. Please, put my mind to rest and tell me you aren't leaving her. I promise not to get in the middle of this, but I won't be able to enjoy the Caribbean not knowing if my baby is okay." * I leaned against my pickup. Mrs. Danvers was quiet waiting for my response. * I'm not going to leave her. We'll be fine, it's just going to take a little time. * I heard her breathe a sigh of relief. * "Thank you, Ian. I know she loves you very much." And I love her, I just have to figure out how to let go of this anger. But I promise, we will be fine. "Merry Christmas, Ian. Thank you for loving my daughter." Merry Christmas, Mrs. Danvers. * I disconnected the call and chuckled to myself. Jumping into my pickup I headed and home. *

* I was still hurt over Ian not wanting to sleep with me but, I did understand. So much had happened lately and I felt like I needed to talk to my mom. Ian was out running errands in town so, I fixed some coffee and got my laptop out. I hit the Skype icon and dialed up mom my mom.. As it rang throufh, I secretly hoped she wouldn't answer then, there she was. " Meghan! Sweetheart, how are you?" I smiled.* Oh, I'm okay. How are you and dad? Still cruising around the world? * She laughed and told me about packing for their newest cruise. They were goung to the Caribbean for Christmas. I told her it sounded wonderful but, she knew me and she knew something was wrong. " Meghan, what's going on? Where's Ian? Is everything okay?" I just sat there and tried not to cry.* Ian's out, and everything is a mess. I almost lost Ian for good and now, now we're starting over and he took my ring back. * I was crying and had to grab a kleenex. " Meghan, tell me what happened." I blew my nose .* I screwed up, big time. There was a bunch of stuff that happened and Ian wanted me to stay safe, and at home. But, I needed to get out so, I drugged Ian and went to the bar. * My mom looked stunned and I thought the screen froze. " Jesus Christ, Meghan! How could you do that to him?! You better tell me everything, right now. Dear Lord, your father will have a stroke!" I sighed and told her everything. About Chloe meeting Vincent, about her dad and being shot. I thought she was going to freak out but, she gave me that look and I finished up telling her about drugging Ian and Vincent, Ian moving to the guest room and the meeting with the Alpha. " Beck sounds like a fair man. You're lucky. You're also lucky Ian is still around." I agreed with her.* Yeah, I am. I love him more than anything. I'm doing everything I can to earn his trust. * My mom shook her head. "It's going to take time. I'm just glad you're both okay. Sounds like y'all have been through hell. You're sure you're okay otherwise? And Chloe is alright?" I nodded.* Yes, she's good. Her and Vincent are doing great. * She sighed. " I hate to but, I have to go sweetheart. I'm glad you're safe but, I am disappointed in you." I hung my head.* Not as disappointed as I am, mom. * She told me she loved me and that they'd be home around the middle of January and, they'd like to visit. I told her how wonderful that would be and asked her to send my love to dad. After She logged off, I sat there for a bit and thought about how much I did love Ian and that I was glad I spoke with my mom. Even if she did scold me. I needed it.*

The drive sucked. I longed to be out and running free. I was free, no steel bars, no cage, no beatings, no dog food, no shivering on the cold cement and now here I was stuck in a truck. At least it was warm. I welcomed the feeling but still I itched to just run and be myself. What was being myself anyway? With no memory I wasn't even sure who I was anymore. Most of the time I stared out the window in silence even when pain sliced through my head. Faces I didn't know, voices seemed familiar but I couldn't place them. I gave up trying to make sense of what was going through my mind and turned to face the red haired female who was driving Why? Why help me? I don't get it. Do I even know you? She looked at me briefly before turning her attention back to the road. I knew her mind was working on what to say by the nervous energy that flowed through the air. I tapped down the urge to shake the answers out of her. With a huff I turned back towards the window deciding to plan my escape next time we stopped.

* I came to in a dark room. The only light filtered through a small window that was covered with frost. It was cold in the room as I shifted my legs and feet. I was sore all over my body. My head pounded in pain and I was so thirsty. My hands flew to my belly in a bid to feel the baby as everything rushed back with clarity. Tears flooded my eyes when my hands felt nothing. I sat up, trying to get up from the cot. A small ripple moved through my abdomen and I breathed a sigh of relief as I felt a definite kick. The baby lived. Eli did not. I sobbed, pressing my hand against my mouth. Someone had taken me and killed my mate. The room I was in was small and concrete. There was only a cot, which I had been laying on. My clothes were stiff and I looked down to see that my sweater had been removed. I made my way to the door, reaching for the door knob. It was frozen in my palm as I attempted to turn the knob. It didn't budge. I moved to the small window and grabbed the concrete ledge with my fingers. My boots tried to find purchase on the wall so I could look out. I slipped but tried again. My arms shook as I tried and I ended up in a heap on the floor.

* I watched the scenery as it flew by from the passenger side seat window. My mate was driving us out for a picnic and then we were going to pick a Christmas tree. Elijah Bennett worked as a firefighter for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and his hours were ungodly. It was rare that we had a day together when he wasn't sleeping or taking care of things around the house we had bought. My hand rested on the swell of my belly. We had gotten pregnant sooner than we had meant to, but we embraced it.

We had gotten pregnant sooner than we had meant to, but we embraced it. "I'm really excited to decorate. It's our first Christmas in our new home." He smiled and reached for my hand, kissing my knuckles. "I'm just excited to be alone with you. I love my parents, but they hover." I laughed thinking about Mr. and Mrs. Bennett. They were sweet people who meant well, but he was right, they did tend to hover. And with my pregnancy, they would have driven me mad. "Have you talked to David about the case he currently has you on?"...

* Once the melee was clear, I shifted back and went to Raechel Hadrian. She was breathing hard and looked as if she'd run a marathon. I grabbed her into a fierce hug. * I'm alright, I'm alright. * She gasped out as she sobbed against me, her arms going around my waist. Thomas was there, petting Raja. * Daddy, you look hurt. * I looked to Rae as Jackson started the truck forward. She nodded and touched my face. * I'm alright buddy. Just a scratch. * Thomas was talking to Raja as we drove to town. He was injured worse than I had thought, but I knew Julian Takumi would do everything in his power to keep him alive. I knew the question was how had this all happened, and while I didn't know for sure, I had two suspects to question down in the basement jail. The Alpha side of me wanted to stalk down those stairs and kill both motherfuckers without waiting for the explanation. I had the right to be judge, jury and executioner. They had dared to touch what was mine. What was OURS. But the father side of me, the mate side of me, knew I should stay until I knew without a doubt that Rae and Raja would be okay. They both had fought to protect what was ours and I was more than impressed with Rae. I kissed her forehead. * You fought well, babe. * She half smiled. * I was terrified. * I she was still snuggled against me. We pulled up next to the clinic and I hopped out, holding a hand out for Rae. * Julian! * I bellowed as I eased Rae to the ground. She turned for Thomas just as Julian came out of the clinic. * I know you aren't a vet, but Raja needs care and now! * Jackson was there, helping me to pull the injured dog from the truck. * Bring him in, Beck, and we'll see what's what. * Jackson and I maneuvered Raja into the clinic and carried him to the room Julian indicated. * I also would like my mate checked over. She says she's fine, but I'd like a once over, just in case. * He nodded and I stepped back, giving him room to work. Jackson stepped out to take up his position in guarding Rae and Thomas. * I'll help you with Raja as needed. * I stated, watching as Julian moved to get things together for Raja. *

* My old truck rattled down the dirt road leading to the warehouse. The fights were on and, much earler tonight. Rick had asked me to go with him again but, this time I insisted on driving. He laughed, but agreed. He joked about the condition of the truck and I laughed it off. Sure it was old but, it ran, it was fast and it was mine. If I was going to get +Jordan McCormick out of this place, then I had to have my own vehicle, otherwise I'd have to steal a car and cops would be involved. That was a big no. Most humans didn't know about us shifters and, they wouldn't believe me if I told them what was going on. I parked so I'd have easy access to the road, saying that my truck was so big that I'd need the room. Rick agreed and we got out. I pocketed my keys. I didn't carry a purse, it and the backpack I had with some clothes and shoes in it were behind the seat of the truck. Now, I just had to get in and get to Jordan. Rick went straight for his bookie, telling me as he stepped away to find us some seats. I nodded but watched him and the guy disappear behind closed doors. I walked around, bought a beer from one of the little stalls and meandered around, just watching the comings and goings of the so called staff. I finally headed inside where the ring was located and found a place to sit. Rick joined me a few minutes later. He seemed excited, jumpy. He leaned close and told me he had a huge bet on one of the fighters. I faked enthusiasm, wishing him luck and letting him kiss me. I tried hard not to cringe and he bought my act. Now I just had to find the right time to excuse myself and hopefully find Jordan.*

* Kaiyo was excited about everything here. It amazed me that such a tiny female could be so loud and giggly, could eat so much and stand in awe watching the wildlife coming from the woods. Kimiko had stayed up with her for a few nights, just talking and laughing. Last night I had to get out of bed and go to the living room to tell them it was time for bed. Both of them mocked me, giggling. I growled, giving them both a glare that said I wasn't kidding. They got the hint and, I finally got some sleep. Today, we went into town for groceries and of course we had to stop for ice cream. Kaiyo said she loved the town, how friendly everyone was. I was glad because we'd probably be staying in the states and she was transitioning wonderfully. Kimiko was in the kitchen with Kaiyo. They were preparing steaks for the grill, chopping lettuce and vegetables for salad and if course talking and laughing. I had just turned the tv off after watching the news and was headed to the kitchen t...
* I rolled out a map of the town and the surrounding land that belonged to the pack. +Cole Ross, +Ian Holder and +Vincent Gaines along with a couple of other enforcers circled the table. I began to appoint search area's when screeching tires out front had all of us scrambling towards the reception area. The door flung open and a very pissed off Beck came into the Police Department. He looked at the two enforcers. * "I have two males tied up in my truck. Bring them in and lock them up, separately." * The two enforcers walked out and Beck turned back to us. * "I was checking on our group of misfits on the west edge of our ground when we were attacked by a pack of rogues. We killed all but two. They are going to need some help cleaning things up out there." * The door opened. * "You're going to fucking pay, all of you. When I get out of here, I'll gather up anyone who is left of our group and we'll come back for your females." * The enforcer g...

I had just finished folding all of the laundry and Ian's things in a basket that I left outside the guest room door. I wasn't about to go in there. If I did he'd probably have another reason to be mad at me. I took my things upstairs and on my way back down there was a knock on the front door. I peeked out the side window and saw Rocky, the guard that had been asigned to me. I sighed and unlocked the door. When I opened it, Rocky looked at me and kind of sneered. " There was a problem with the Transport. When I have more info, I'll let you know." He started to walk away from me but I stopped him. * Was anyone hurt? Is Ian okay? * He shook his head, that sneer back on his face. " Do you really care? I heard about what you did." I was furious. How dare he say that to me! I stomped out onto the porch, my hands balled into fists at my side. Don't you ever question my love for my mate! I made a mistake and I'm paying for it! You have no right to throw it in my fucking face, you son of a bitch! * I growled and stomped back into the house, slamming the door behind me. I got as far as the couch in the living room before I burst into tears and slowly sagged to the floor.*

* I slammed the phone down on the receiver and cussed. * "Slade Michaels, I cannot afford to replace your phone again because you broke it. Get a punching bag or something would you!" * Bernice yelled at me from her desk. I was frustrated because the cell phone company couldn't get a trace on +Jordan McCormick's phone. I had hoped they could at least tell me the last place it was used, but to no avail. Apparently if a phone has been turned off, you can no longer trace it. * Bernice! Do you know when +Vincent Gaines will be coming in? "No idea, Slade. He isn't technically an employee yet." * I kept running into dead ends and even though I didn't feel my mate was really dead, the universe sure wasn't giving me anything to believe she was alive. I hoped that maybe Vincent might have some contacts that could help. My cell phone vibrated on my desk and I reached for it sliding my finger across the screen. It was a text from Cole. They had ran into problems at Mia's and now we had 5 dead shifters on our hands. Mia being one of them. It was brought up by one of the males, that there was possibly more. What the fuck. I sent Cole a text back. We were best friends. We trained for this shit and I knew he knew what to do. Seconds later my phone vibrated again. He had sent out an alert text to all our enforcers. Soon we would have guards in place to protect mates and the town would be swamped with the best trained males. I welcomed the distraction. Hearing voices coming from the reception area, I stood to ready myself to help search when my computer pinged with an incoming e-mail. I opened it and it was from Sheriff Randy Anderson.

* I said a silent prayer that everything would go well, while +Cole Ross and Ian Holder escorted Mia out of town. I knew he'd be gone most of the afternoon. Taking a moment to gather my thoughts, I pulled stationary out of my little wood desk to write my apology letters to Beck, Ian and Vincent. I wasn't sure what to say, but I wanted them to know I was sincere. I placed my pen on the paper and began to write. *

I know our actions could have caused harm or even death. Their is no excuse that will justify what we did. I accept my punishment, grateful that you are allowing me to still be a member of the this pack. Sincerely, Jules Corvin Satisfied with what I wrote, I set Beck's letter to the side and started on Ian's. Ian, Please, please forgive me for my part in the drugging fiasco. Though I do realize how serious the situation could have become, I promise you w...

* I had left Raechel Hadrian to put together the lists and schedules for the community service of the females. As far as I was concerned, the situation was done and over. It was up to the males to decide when they could move past it. I had kissed her cheek as I headed out. * I shouldn't be gone long. I'm just going to fan out along the border and make sure everyone is doing alright. * She nodded as Thomas crammed a huge piece of waffle into his mouth. * An' behavin', huh? * He asked around the bite. I ruffled his hair. * Smaller bites, buddy. And no talking with your mouth full. * He nodded and I stuffed my phone in my pocket. * If you need me, call. Jackson is here. * Raes eyes met mine, questioning. * Just a precaution. Banishment isn't pretty. * She nodded and I kissed her again, dropped a kiss on Thomas' head and headed out the door. Raja trotted behind me and I scratched his ears. * Protect them good. * He seemed to understand and I stepped out onto the porch and shook hands with Jackson. * Thanks for doing this. * I told him as he grinned. * Of course. Its an honor. Its my sincere hope that my services aren't needed. * I agreed. * Hopefully, I'm being over cautious. But better safe than sorry. * Jackson nodded and I headed to my truck. Cole Ross texted me that he was on his way to get Ian Holder so they could get Mia processed out of holding and off pack land. I was working with Slade Michaels on getting Vincent Gaines set up as a gainful employee of the police department as well. I just needed to touch base with those families that tended to live on the outskirts of the pack land. They weren't rogues; most were older shifters who had barely survived O'Donnells reign of terror. They just wanted to live their lives in peace. It was my job to make sure they stayed fed, clothed, housed and received proper medical treatment. They were outsiders to most and distrustful of those they didn't know. I tried to make the rounds at least twice a month, but with Bianca going missing and then Jordan's disappearance, I had been remiss in these duties. I drove out to the north side first, finishing my coffee as I drove. The first trailer came into view. There were about ten of the camper trailers on this section and there were people working small sections of land. They were harvesting the fall crops before winter set in. I parked and climbed out, watching as each one glanced my way. * The Alpha has returned. * I turned at the announcement and smiled at the old man. Rupert Elslow was the one who took on "leader" of this band of misfits. * I thought surely you had forgotten about us. * I shook his hand as he laughed, pounding my back. * No, I hadn't. Business carried me out of town for longer than expected. * He nodded as he stepped inside his trailer. He poured two black coffees and handed me one. He gestured to a small stool. * Have a seat. * I did and he dropped into a nearby lawn chair. * You're looking smaller than I remember. * I sipped the coffee. * You know they done put me in the hospital? Yessiree, they sho did. Had me hooked up to all them IV fluids like a fish. They said, you doin' anything about your high blood pressure? I said no, they said what about your cholesterol? I said, nope. Nothin'. I cut my arm running that tiller. And she liked to never heal up. Jenny insisted on taking me in, said I was run up with the fever. I couldn't hardly shift. * He sipped his coffee, the proof of his ordeal still scarred. * The coffee was somethin' turrible. I tell you, you'd go on and spit that right out. Don't get me started on the food. Blech. I ain't never tasted nothin' so bad in all my days! * I chuckled. * I'm glad to see you're on the mend. How is everything else? * He looked out over the land. * Fair to middlin'. We could use some clothes. Margaret Alice has a youngin' ready to come any day now. * I nodded, making a mental note. * We can do that. How are your food stores? * He nodded. * We're right set. Waters good. Orion is brewing that rotgut again. Swears it'll be liquid gold this time. * I heard what sounded like four wheelers getting closer, the throttles open. The hair on the back of my neck stood up. * Rupert, you expecting company? * I asked as I stood. * Can't say as I am, Alpha. * Those working in the field stood up. The four wheelers came down the mountain pass, open throttle. It took me seconds to realize the intent. * Call them back, Rupert! * He gave the whistle and just as tools were dropped and people started running, the four wheelers caught air and landed on them. * Shit! * They wore masks and there were at least six of them. I started to run when Rupert stopped me. * You're going to need this. * He slapped a gun into my hands and grabbed his own shotgun. He chambered a slug and I had just aimed when the first driver came at us. I shot him in the head and the hit lifted him into the air and off the ATV. It kept going until it hit the fence. There was no time, people had been run over and now the men were coming for us. Those that were able made their way towards us into the fray. I pulled out my phone to call for back up when I was hit with the impetus of a freight train, my body hitting hard enough to jar my teeth. * Big mistake banishing my sister! * He snarled through his mask, punching me in my jaw. I reached up and grabbed his jacket, pushing him off of me. * Big man, hiding behind that mask. * I growled, sucker punching him. He hit the dirt, and I was on top of him, fisting his jacket and punching him. * We're going to kill you. And your stupid fucking mates! * He announced through his bleeding lips. I hauled him up just as Rupert came up. He jabbed a taser against the males neck and I watched as his body jerked around before he collapsed. * Rupert. You crazy son of a-- * I never finished my statement as more rogues came at us with switchblades and pistols. *

* He seemed to understand and I stepped out onto the po...

I was in my office checking in with my restaurant in New York. “Yeah, boss! We got the new order in and the customers really love it. I don’t know where you got the idea but it was a good one.” I listened as tony went through the details. He went on and on about this and that to the point that I wasn’t even listening. I heard a beep and looked over at my cell phone before picking it up and the message had me stiffening. Look, Tony, your doing a great job since Reese left. Just keep up the good work and I’ll be in New York next month to check on things. He said goodbye as I hung up and opened the message on my phone. I had just finished reading the message when another one came through. Typing a reply to both, I jumped up from my desk chair and went looking for *+Chloe Cross*. Chloe? She came running downstairs and looked surprised that I was speaking to her. “Yes?” Walking over to her as she came down the last step, I stood in front of her. There’s been trouble with Mia. “Is everyone alright? I know Ian and Cole were escorting her out of town.” I looked down at her wondering what to say to her. We don’t know much right now. Tyler is on his way to keep an eye on you. Don’t leave the house and don’t give him any problems. I don’t need to hear you’ve gotten into more trouble. She looked up at me and I could see the hurt in her eyes. “I won’t do anything, Vincent. I told you, I’m sorry over and over again. When are you going to believe that I’m telling the truth?” I was about to answer her when I heard a truck pulling up the driveway. Turning, I went to the window, seeing Tyler park and jump out of the truck, heading for the house. I turned back to Chloe and said. Look, that’s Tyler and I have to go. Just do what he says and I’ll be back as soon as I can.

* I pulled up to our cabin and Jules looked over at me. I put the truck in park and leaned over to give her a kiss.* I'll be back soon. Why don't you work on your letters. I'll read what you have when I get home. * She bit her lip and nodded. As she opened her door I stopped her.* I love you, Jules. You made a mistake. It'll be okay, just give it some time. * She smiled a little, kissed me again and went inside. I waited till she had the door shut behind her before I backed out and headed over to Ian's place. The drive over was quiet and I thought about what Jules and the girls did. They were all lucky no one died and that Beck was a fair man. Even my sister had her ass in a sling but, I knew Beck loved her, he'd love her no matter what. Then, there was my sister Jordan. I knew she wasn't dead, there was something going on but her being dead wasn't it. I pulled into the long drive at Ian and Megs. After I parked, I sent Ian a text letting him know I was there and I turned the radio on while I waited for him.*

* The drive home was quiet. The silent treatment hurt, but the way he shied away from me when I tried to touch him broke my heart. I deserved it, I knew it, but it didn't make it any easier. * Vincent, I know you're tired of hearing it, but I truly am sorry for what I did. I'll do anything to prove to you that you are my world. Please forgive me. * He had pulled up in front of the house and shut his BMW off and stared out the front windshield for a second before opening his door and getting out. For a millisecond I thought he was going to say something but he didn't. He walked up the steps to the door and unlocked it, not giving me a second thought. I sighed and fought back the tears. I was tired of crying and wasn't going to do it anymore. When I walked into the house Vincent was in the kitchen pouring himself a glass of his favorite Cognac. I closed the door and shed my jacket hanging it up in the closet, I noticed his laid across the back of a chair so I picked it up and hung it up also. I stood and watched him as he made his way back into the living room and sat in his favorite chair. He was silent but he was also calm and that scared me. It also told me that my punishment wasn't over. My hands were shaky so I clasped them together when I sat on the couch across from him. He took a drink and studied me. His gaze made me want to squirm, but the stubborn wolf I was tried not to let his behavior affect me. I sat quietly and waited for him to speak. *

* I drove +Meghan Danvers home. The drive wasn't long, but it gave me a chance to think of everything that happened at the meeting. * "Ian, I don't want you to quit working at the bar. You know the customers the best. It just won't feel right without you." * I rolled my eyes. * I guess you should have thought about that before you pulled your little stunt. * "Ian I'm....."* I cut her off. * I know, I know. You're sorry. It's not enough Meg. * Her arms flailed out and then dropped to her side. * "Then what do I have to do, Ian?" * I looked at her, my breathing a little heavy with anger. We stood outside of the house in the front yard. * There will be no contact between you and the other females, except for when you are doing your community service. * Meg shook her head. * "Ian, Chloe and I have never been apart during the holidays. It's our favorite time of the year." * I growled. * I'm you're fucking mate, Meg. Is she more important than me? * "No, but." * I wasn't arguing with her. * While you are doing your community service, you will not work at the bar. * Meg swallowed. * "Okay, I guess Chloe can handle it without me." * I smirked. * Vincent and I talked. Chloe won't be working either. Reese, will continue to run the bar. "That's not fair, Ian! It's our bar. * I nodded. * It is, but I should be more important to you then that bar. I'll go pack my bags. * I turned away from her and walked up the step to the door. *

I was putting the finishing touches on Kaiyo's room, when +Takahiro Yanahi DPI joined me. * "It looks great in here. Are you about ready to leave? It will take us about an hour to get to the airport." * I was giddy with excitement, I hadn't seen my sister since our mothers funeral. And I hated that she was so far away. Plus having her with us, Taka and I could keep her safe. I fixed the pillow on the bed and turned to him smiling. * Taka, I can't thank you enough for this. * He walked over to me and hugged me, kissing my forehead gently. * "That smile is enough, I just want you happy. I'm going to do everything I can to make that happen. Now let's go." * He held my hand and pulled me out of the room. I followed willingly. I was getting to know a side of Taka I didn't know before and if I wasn't careful, my heart could be his so easily. Taka held my coat out for me and I slipped my arms inside. I grabbed my phone a purse and headed out to the SUV. Taka and I both jumped in and he steered the SUV towards Minot. *
