Please accept my apology for my involvement in the drugging of Ian and Vincent. I know our actions could have caused harm or even death. Their is no excuse that will justify what we did. I accept my punishment, grateful that you are allowing me to still be a member of the this pack.

Satisfied with what I wrote, I set Beck's letter to the side and started on Ian's.

Ian,

Please, please forgive me for my part in the drugging fiasco. Though I do realize how serious the situation could have become, I promise you we meant no harm. I swear to you that I have learned my lesson and hope that by accepting my punishment and by fulfilling it you will know how sincere I am.

Sitting Ian's letter on top of Beck's, I moved on to Vincent's.

Vincent,

Saying I'm sorry will not fix the hurt and anger that I have caused you. I can only hope that over time, you will see that I truly am. I'm not a bad person and I swear to you we meant no harm. I hope over time, you will be able to forgive me.

I felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders. I hoped that my letters would please Cole and he too would see how horrible I feel about what we did. Looking at the clock I knew it would still be a bit before Cole made it home so I fixed myself a cup of warm tea. I set the cup down on the table by the couch and grabbed my blanket when there was a light knock on the door. I approached slowly peeking out to see who it was and opened the door excitingly. * Piper! What are you doing here? It's been so long. * She pulled me into an embrace and I caught sight of Jasper walking around the corner of the house. He bound up the steps. His face was serious. * Jasper? I know that look. Tell me Cole is okay. "He's okay, but he and Ian did run into some trouble at Mia's. I'm going to guard you from out here until he gets home. Piper wanted to come sit with you and I didn't want to leave her alone. * I nodded realizing that was all the explanation I was going to get. I tried to smile at Piper when I invited her in. She kissed Jasper before following me inside. I closed the door and locked it. * Would you like some tea, Piper? * She grinned and followed me into the kitchen. * "Yes! Then you can tell me all about the trouble you got yourself into!"

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
