It will give you chance to meet my coven members and Ali's guards. * I headed towards my office to grab my keys and shut my computer down. * I'd be glad to. I'm on my way.

    I hung up the phone and turned to face my family. It’s all set! Slade will be here in a few minutes to get Dominic and myself. Ali opened her mouth to say something but I held up my hand to stop her. I know you want to help me honey, and I understand why. But you need to to rest. You can help me far more if you take the time to rest. She pouted but nodded her head. “Okay, I’ll rest. For not, but you’re working too hard and stretching yourself too thin. Magic is a beautiful thing but it’s also hard on a body if you’re overdoing it.” I nodded and smiled knowing she was right. “Grams, you know this was way too much magic to hold together for one person.” I know, that’s why the coven is on their way here now. I may be old but I’m not senile. Turning I headed for the front door. Dominic, are you coming? “Yes, Aunt Loretta!” I looked over my shoulder to see him kissing Ali before he shook Wade’s hand. “Remember little cousin, call us before you teleport again.” He turned away and headed towards me. I opened up the door and waved at Slade as he pulled up to the cabin. Matthew came out of the woods and walked up to me. “You planning on going somewhere without me, Mrs... I put my hands on my hips and he cleared his throat. “Sorry, Lettie, but you don’t go anywhere without me.” Dom, growled and Slade got out of his truck. “It’s okay Matthew. She’s coming with me. I’ll make sure she’s safe and comes back safe and sound.”

    * The three of us piled into my pickup and I headed for the outer banks of town. The ride was quiet, until Lettie began to chant and the veil opened to let us out side of the perimeter of the spell. I drove just a little further and stopped just a few feet in front of 3 other vehicles. Nine people stood facing us. * Does everyone here look familiar? * Lettie smiled as she stared at the group in front of us. * "Yes. The two large males on the right are my granddaughters guards. The other 7 are from my coven." * I nodded. * Okay, let's do this. * The three of us filed out and I was surprised to see how easily Dominic and the two large males greeted each other. The coven on the other hand were surprised to see a demon standing in our midst. * "Lettie?" * A tall male growled her name. * "Stop, you all know who my mate was. To think I didn't have relationship with his side of the family is foolish. This is Dominic, he helped us to find Ali when she disappeared. Now that she is safe, he will be heading back home. She turned to face him. Dominic wrapped her in a hug. * "Anytime Auntie. I'm here for you too." * Lettie looked up at him. * "I appreciate that Dom. Thank you." * Dominic stepped back away from everyone and looked at me. I nodded. * Thank you for your assistance. It was nice meeting you. * Dom grinned, looked towards Ali's guards and then disappeared. Shaking my head, I blinked, looking back at the spot that Dom was standing in just a second ago. Lettie laughed. * "Slade, let me introduce you to everyone."

    I turned to face Frank and James and smiled. Slade, this is Frank, and his brother James! They are my granddaughter’s guards. They are also panther shifters like Ali. Jordan Pride thought it would be better for her to grow up with panther shifters like her, so she would have someone to ask questions. When they couldn’t answer something, Jordan’s mate took over. James and Frank stepped forward and shook Slade’s hand. James grinned. “Thanks for helping to find Ali. She’s like a little sister to us.” Slade nodded. “It wasn’t a problem. We really appreciate everything that Loretta has done for our town and it’s people.” I sucked in a breath before turning and facing my coven. Pointing, I tried to smile but I knew it didn’t reach my eyes. Turning back to Slade I said. This is Thomas, Jackson and Robert. I looked over at the females. This is Krista, Hazel, Willow and Dreya. I looked at everyone and smiled. Slade Michaels is the Beta of this pack and he will be overseeing everything while you are here. Slade looked at each one of my coven before speaking. “I’ve found cabins for you to stay in while you are here. The males will share a three bedroom cabin and the females will share a four bedroom cabin. If you decide to stay in town permanently, we can talk about other arrangements.” They all nodded and I looked at Frank. Don’t worry, you two will be staying with me. The room Dom stayed in has two large beds in it. Slade cleared his throat and everyone looked at him. “I think we should get back. I’ve still got to check in with my enforcers and let them know that we have some new folks in town.”

    * We made our way back into town and stopped at the cabin the females would be staying in. Everyone got out of their cars and Lettie asked for the members of her coven to gather around. She opened her hand to show the seven crystals. * "I'm sure you can all sense the protection spell I have around McGregor. I'm going to link your crystals to me, so even if you're not close, it will be easier to send me power." * The seven of them nodded and surrounded her, resting one hand on her and the other hand on the person beside them until they were all connected. Lettie closed her eyes and bowed her head. A quiet chant came from her and when she was done the crystals glowed brighter than any of the other crystals I'd seen. She handed each member a crystal and they placed them in a locket that was around their necks. Lettie looked at me and nodded. I looked at the cabin in front of us. * This is the cabin for the females. The three males went to their car and grabbed their bags as we walked towards the front door. I unlocked it and flipped the switch as we went inside. * I had a total sweep done of both cabins. Nothing should be lurking inside. You will each have your own bedrooms with your own bathrooms. * "Nice!" * One of the females piped up. I walked inside and went to the hall with the bedrooms. Opening each bedroom doors. * There is a mud room in the back of the house with a washer and dryer for laundry. The kitchen is fully stocked including the refrigerator. I left spare keys to the house and a paper with my cell phone number and office number on it. There is also my second hand mans number on there, his name is Cole. If you have any trouble or need anything, just call. There will also be a enforcer who will stay outside the house at all times while you are here. It's standard procedure for us. * The four females smiled and nodded. Lettie hugged them and they followed us back out onto the porch. I pointed towards the trees. A male walked out of the shadows. * This is Pete, he will be your guard, but also, see the walking path? It will lead you right to the back door of the cabin Lettie is staying in. * Lettie smiled. * Thank you, Slade. That gives me a little peace of mind knowing they are close by. * She turned to the females. * "Let's do lunch at my place. Let's say 1:00?" * The four females nodded and the rest of us headed back to their cars. *

    * We drove a couple blocks down the same street to another cabin. The males filed out of their SUV, automatically grabbing their bags. We headed to the cabin and I opened it up. This is a 3 bedroom cabin, but I'm afraid 2 of you will have to share a bathroom. One room has it's own bathroom * "Dude, this is sweet!" * The males took in the front room. It had high ceilings that peaked. A large fire place with an even bigger flat screen t.v. It was the ultimate bachelor pad. * Same as the females, the house is furnished. Keys and phone numbers are on the counter. Fastest route to Lettie's cabin is back up the street towards the females cabin, go 3 blocks, take a left. It's the second cabin on the left. The males nodded. * This is great Slade. Thanks. * I nodded towards the male who spoke up. He seemed to be a little older and had the in charge complex about him. The others looked up to him. Finally we left and I took Lettie back to her cabin with the two panther shifters following us. * "I'll meet with my coven this afternoon and we'll start working on a spell to find Kaiyo and the witch. I'd like for you to have Kaiyo's family, Reese and maybe a few of your best enforcers ready to go at 10:00 in the morning. As soon as we have Kaiyo home safe, I promise to have a look at Jordan and take care of the three shifters in lock up." * I pulled up to her cabin and let her out. The two males got out and gave Lettie a hug. Stepping back from them, she pulled two crystals from her pocket. I watched as she explained to them what to do. They activated their crystals and deposited them in their pockets. Grabbed their bags and headed inside. I backed out of the drive and headed towards the station. Looked like I needed to fill Beck in on what just took place. *

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
