{I opened my eyes and tried to get them to focus. I was lightheaded and reached up to move my hair from my face. I slowly moved my leg and felt the warm body behind me. I inhaled a little and immediately relaxed. Wade! My Wade was holding me and for a moment I thought I dreamed the whole thing. I couldn’t have teleported. But then I looked around the room and realized that it wasn’t my bedroom. I turned to face Wade and his arm tightened around me.} “Stay still! No more teleporting anymore. Do you realize how much you scared us? I called Demitri. Dominic came right away and Lettie felt you here.” {I sucked in a breath and remembered what triggered the teleport.} How is she? “She’s fine. Worried about you. She looks tired but once we found you and after we found out you were okay, I could see she looked better.” {I nodded and tried to get up when Wade tightened his grip on me and kissed my forehead.} “Where do you think you are going?”

    I woke up feeling better than I’d felt since I moved to McGregor. Opening my eyes, I looked around my room and didn’t hear anyone moving around. Getting up I headed for my bathroom and showered. Wrapping a towel around myself I stepped out of the shower and turned off the water. I brushed my teeth then dressed and headed for the kitchen to make breakfast. I was surprised to see Wade, Dom and Ali sitting at the table. Ali was drinking a glass of orange juice while Wade and Dominic waited on the coffee The was filling the pot. I smiled as I looked over my granddaughter making sure she was okay. So, how is everyone doing this morning. Ali looked at me and grinned. “I’m fine grams. How are you you?” I grinned back as I pulled bacon and eggs out of the refrigerator. I placed them on the counter before going back and getting the milk and butter. Grabbing a large bowl and the bread, I started breaking the eggs into the bowl. I hope everyone likes French toast? I looked over and smiled as Dominic’s eyes lit up. “You’re going to spoil me, Auntie! But I like it.” I laughed as I melted the butter in the pan and dipped the bread in the mixture then put it in the pan. The bacon sizzled in the other pan and I watched as Wade can over and removed the cooked bacon and put more in the pan. Thanks for the help Wade. At times like this I really miss Frank and James. Wade laughed. “I know what you mean. They are a big help around the house. But it’s nothing like what Dom is used too.” I turned and looked at Dom, a brow raised. And you had me feeling sorry for you.

    * I shrugged and grinned. * What? Demitri makes sure we are well taken care of. * Wade laughed and Lettie shook her head. The smell of the bacon made my stomach rumble. Lettie fixed a plate with French toast and bacon. I reached for it and then winced when I got an elbow to the gut. * Ouch cousin! What was that for? * I played wounded and Wade laughed outloud. * "Ladies first, especially pregnant ones." * Ali said and then reached for the plate. I chuckled and watched her as she ate, glad that she was alright. I contacted Demitri through our bond, letting him know that Ali was fine and that I'd be home soon. * Demitri is glad that everyone is okay. * The four of us ate breakfast and visited. Lettie filled us in on what was happening in McGregor. * "I want to stay and help Gram's. * I dropped my fork and looked at my cousin. Wade and Lettie didn't appear surprised. * Is that really a good idea in your condition? * I looked towards her belly. * "If you're so worried about me you can stay and help too? * She cocked a brow at me. * I'll do anything to keep you safe, but I won't meddle in others affairs. Besides, we unfortunately have some things going on that is taking me out of the country for a bit. But if anything comes up and you need help. Don't hesitate to call. You know we're here for you. * I looked at all three of them. * "I appreciate that Dom, you saved my ass this time. I would have gone mad if I couldn't have gotten to her. * Lettie's cell phone rang. * Frank! * It was quiet for a minute. * Wow, did you speed the whole way? Yes, Ali is with me, she's fine. I'll see you in a few minutes. You won't be able to get into town without me. * She placed the phone down on the table. * "It seems that Frank and James are about thirty minutes out and they've met up with the coven somewhere along the way. Just then there was a knock on the door. The four of us looked at each other and then Wade and I got up to answer the door. I grinned down at the Doctor. * Good morning Julian.

    I got up early wanting to get back to some sort of normalcy. I know I would go crazy if I didn’t get back to work. Taking care of Loretta’s granddaughter last night felt good and I realized that if I didn’t have my work I wouldn’t be any good to my sister when we found her. I made calls to Jules and Meghan as well as Brennan, telling them that the clinic would be back to regular hours and to be at work. I wanted Meghan to help Jules train Brennan at the front desk. Rae would also be remaining at the clinic but only part time. Her little boy would be starting school and she wanted to do something to help out our community and she loved working at the clinic. I ate breakfast with Kimiko and Takahiro, grabbed my medical bag and headed to Loretta’s place to check on her granddaughter. It took about ten minutes and I was out of my car and knocking on the door. I heard two sets of foot falls heading to the door and knew immediately who it was. A second later the door opened and I looked into the faces of Loretta’s grandson in law and her nephew. The large demon grinned down at me and smiled smiled at how big he was. “Good morning Julian.” The demon said before he and Wade moved back letting me enter. I followed Wade to the kitchen while Dominic closed the door then followed us. Alicia was seated at the table eating. She looked up at me, a question on her face. I was happy to see her up and eating. “Ali, baby, this is Julian, McGregor’s Doctor! Julian this is my granddaughter, Alicia! He took care of you last night once we found you.” Alicia looked at me again and smiled. “It’s nice to meet you, Doctor. Thank you for checking me out. I’m so sorry I got you out of your home last night and this morning.” I smiled back as I made my way closer to her. I placed my bag on the table then took a seat. It’s my job so no need to thank me. I’m happy to see that you are eating. Do you have any pain or is your appetite different than it normally is? She shook her head as she thought about my questions. “No, no pain and my eating and drinking are normal.” If you are planning on going home today, I’d like to do an sonogram. She smiled. “Do I have to do it right away? We are planning to stay for a while. That is if the Alpha agrees.” My eyes widened but I masked my reaction. No, not right away but id like to make sure you are okay before you leave. Alicia nodded and smiled. “I’m an OB/GYN so I know how important it is to make sure everything is okay.” Really, then I’ll trust you to stop by my clinic in a day or two. I stood as I grabbed my bag. Loretta get her in to see me. Loretta and Alicia both agreed and I turned to shake hands with Wade then Dominic before heading for the door and to the clinic.

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
