We left the police station after I told Julian how to get to my cabin. Could you get them and take them outside, please? He nodded and I looked at Ian. Ian I need you to fill this bowl with the water I have in the containers in my pantry. They need to go outside too, please. He smiles down at me. “Sure thing Loretta!” I smiled back before turning to get the seasalt and a large bowl. I turned around and saw Cole standing in the doorway. Please take this outside with the rest. He stepped forward and took the bowl and the bag of seasalt. *I could tell he wanted to ask what I was going to do with everything but I guess he decided to wait and see instead. I went into my room and grabbed a big white candle and the Sage incense I used for my spells and headed outside. When I stepped onto the porch I saw that everyone was here and looking to me for instructions. Okay, let’s get the crystals in the center of the yard with everything else in a circle around them.

The males moved to get everything in place as I turned and looked at Kimiko, the kidnapped females sister. Do you have something of your sisters? She took a deep breath and nodded. “Yes! I brought her hair brush and the mirror from her vanity table. She uses it every….” Kimiko sucked in a breath and I could see unshed tears before she closed her eyes. She opened her eyes and continued. “She uses the mirror everyday.” Julian stepped up beside her and wrapped an arm around her as the other two males stood off to the side. “We also have Reese’s blood.” I smiled, trying to reassure them but I didn’t lie to any of them. I’m going to do everything in my power to get your Kaiyo back. Now take I’m going to cast the protection spell first. We need to get the crystals in the ground before the witch regains her strength. Please have a seat. The four of them nodded in turn and took seats where they could watch me work.

Once everything was in place I lit the candle and the Incense. Then getting on my knees, I closed my eyes, lifting my arms up with my palms up to the sky. With my voice loud and clear I began to cast my spell. ''By fire be cleansed'' Beck. ''By air be cleansed'' Slade. ''By water be cleansed” Cole.
''By earth be cleansed'' Loretta. Feeling the power start to build, I continued. With these crystals put in place. They will guard this humble space. Keep the calm and peace forever. With love and peaceful thoughts I cast all disruptions will now cease at last. I opened my eyes as the crystals began to glow with the combined power of Beck, Slade, Cole and myself. Looking up I saw everyone’s eyes were widened as they watched the crystals. Cole, you will need to place two of the large crystals to the North, the South, the East and the West. The two remaining crystals are to be placed in the center of town. Do you have the shovels? Cole nodded. “Yes, Beck ordered the holes dug and enforcers are waiting.” I turned to Vincent. I need you to get the smaller crystals and put them ion that large platter. Vincent and Ian did as I asked and I repeated the spell. When I was done, I asked Vincent to get the crystals back to town and wait for me. Once I finish the next spell I’ll be there to help you. We don’t want the witch or any one working with her to get crystals. “Do you need anything else?” No, I’m going to try and find Kaiyo then we will come back to town. Vincent nodded and he and Ian left and I turned my attention to the family. Kimiko, please bring me everything you have.

    * I shook my head and thanked Loretta quickly before hurrying to my truck. I went to the four corners of town as Loretta had instructed. The large crystals were now buried. I thanked the enforcers for helping me and drove to the center of town. After burying those crystals I sat on the tailgate of my truck to wait for the others. I looked around me, everything was quiet, townsfolk heading home for the night. Our town had really flourished and I would fight to keep it as it was, without some outsider trying to take it over. I wanted Jules and I to raise a family here and be happy, grow old here. I saw Vincent and Ian. I waved to them both, snapping out of my daydream. They joined me and together we waited for the others.*

    I watched as Cole took the ten large crystals and left. Turning back to Loretta I waited to see what she would do next. “Vincent, please pour those crystals onto that large platter.” Ian grabbed one bag and I took the other and lay them out on the platter then moved back and watched. Once again Loretta got to her knees and closed her eyes and repeated her spell. When she was done she told Ian and I to gather the crystals and wait for her in town. It only took a few minutes to get all the crystals then we were on our way. Ian turned and looked at me. “Damn, that’s some crazy shit but I’m glad she’s on our side.” I know! Did you feel the power coming off those crystals after she cast that spell? It was like they were alive or something. Ian only nodded and I continued into town to wait for Loretta.

    * I did everything that Loretta asked me to do. Trying my best not to freak out when she cast her spells. Of course I knew witches existed, but I had never dealt with one in such close proximity. I helped Vincent load the smaller crystals onto the pickup and could literally feel the power pulsing from the crystals. I looked at Vincent. * Damn, that's some crazy shit but I'm glad she's on our side. "I know! Did you feel the power coming off those crystals after she cast that spell? It was like they were alive or something." I nodded and we continued to the middle of town to meet up with Cole. The three of us waited patiently for Loretta to join us and let us know what we were to do next. *

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack.
