Before leaving the station I let Bernice know I was taking everyone at the bar the crystals. I gave her the names she crossed them off her list. Leaving the station with all the crystals for myself and the bar employees. I sighed staring ahead as I drove. I wanted my mate back. From what we all saw she was in bad shape. Something was going to happen to her and I was helpless to save her. Pulling up to the bar. I got out and grabbed the crystals. Heading in I was glad the bar was closed. “Reese, what’s going on? We heard all kinds of crazy things.” Cassandra asked. I pulled all the employees to the bar and explained to them what was going on. Gasps and sad faces were all around. I then explained the crystals and how to activate them. I then gave them each one and watched as the crystals glowed when activated. Then I gave them one for each home. I told them to keep their eyes open for anyone that seems off. Sure we got a lot of people from towns nearby but most they knew. Everyone understood. I answered questions to the best of my knowledge. Everyone went about and I pulled our bouncers over. Listen, guys. I won’t be here for a few days. I have to help find my mate. “Reese do not worry. We won’t let anything happen here.” Roger spoke up and Kevin nodded. I smiled at them. I know guys. Please be safe. If you see anyone out of the normal customers you should call the station immediately. They both nodded and I grabbed my crystals. I’m heading to get this one home and then I’m going back to join the team to find my mate. Saying bye to everyone I left and got into my truck to head home. Since I lived right at the edge of town there were only a few homes before mine. One caught my eye and I slowed down to a stop. It was abandoned and I could not help but feel like she was in there. Shaking it off I knew it was my mind playing tricks on me. I kept driving till I pulled into my driveway. I drive down the little dirt path and stopped in front of my home. Getting out and going in, I did what I was supposed to do with my crystals and hid the one. Now home I don't know what to do. Everyone was to meet back in an hour or so. I was not hungry or did I care to try and rest a little. I took a nice long shower and dressed. I knew I should try to eat a little something to keep my strength up for what everyone knows the battle to come. I made a sandwich and tried to get some paperwork done for the bar but my mind was all over the place. I missed her. I missed her eye rolls and the way her cheeks turned pink when she tried not to blush at me. I miss the way she would put her hands on her hips and scold me. Not being able to take it anymore I stood and made sure my home was locked down and left back to the station to see if there was any more news on Kaiyo.
