Jake made sure that the bag was right. The food, blanket, and drinks were nestled tightly in the bag. HIs master was feeling a lot better and Jake knew he needed to get away from the compound for a few hours. Once the sun set he told his master to get ready and ask no questions. So his master grumbled and did what he kindly asked him. Grinning they all go into the hummer and Maxim drove to the spot that Jake picked out for them. "My pet where are we going? Why is he here?" Jake sighed. Mate be nice. He is my bodyguard and my friend. He stays. Matre rolled his eyes and sat back in the seat. "I can protect you." You are still not one hundred percent master. Stop, please. Just have a good evening with me and relax. I don't want us thinking about anything just having a good time. After a while, his mate just nodded his head. When Maxim pulled up to the empty parking lot. Matre sat up and looked around. A playground mate? What the fuck are we doing at a playground? Jake grinned at him. We are going to eat breakfast for lunch and just relax. Shut up and get out the hummer. He got out and grabbed the bag walking to the grass area. Taking the blanket out he laid it out on the grass and lit some candles in jars to light up around them. Grinning when his mate finally came over and sat on the blanket. See not so bad right Matre Blogis?

    Finally I was getting out of this hell hole. Normally I would not mind being at the compound, but as injured as I was there was always someone up my ass saying "Matre did you get enough rest?. Matre did you exercise just a little today. Matre are you sure you drank all your blood" blah blah blah. Once back home then I would not have to worry about all these doctors hounding me. Inside the vehicle I snuggled with my mate. He refused to let me pull him upon my lap for fear of hurting my still healing wounds. Damnit, I wanted things back to the way they were, but even Jake treated me like I was made of glass. My mate just had to bring that stupid guard. I don't care what Jake thought but I would protect him better than Maxim. I am sure my boy thought I was pouting along the way but really I just wanted my freedom to be with Jake and only Jake. When we finally stopped at the play ground I grumbled, but Jake was not putting up with my protests. The boy actually put his foot down and told me to shut up and do as he said. Jake actually grew some balls and here I was listening to him as I sat down upon the blanket and pulled him into my arms. I pressed my face against his neck and inhaled the sweet scent that belonged to my mate. My mouth watered but I knew not to take from him no matter how much I was tempted. My urges were not as extreme as when I first woke up to find I was back in Kurjan territory and my mate was standing before me. "Jake, my sweet, sweet boy." Whispering against his flesh "I want you. Make the stupid guard go away so I can play little one..please"

    Shaking his head he pulled his head back and looked at him. Can't we just like relax and eat and talk? We have not been able to just do that. I just want to snuggle with you for a little maybe we can swing on the swings. Master growled. "I want you pet. Make him go away and give me what I want!" Jake sighed I did not bring you here to just have sex. You are still not better yet. Can't we just have a nice evening out master, please? Jake looked him in his eyes and tilted his head. His master rolled his eyes and huffed. "Fine but I am not getting on no damn swings. Jake smiled at him and nodded to Maxim who walked back to the truck. Now it's just me and you master. His master grinned and hugged his pet tightly. "More like it." Jake chuckled and kissed him softly. I love you, master. Let's eat. I cooked you your favorite breakfast/lunch.

    At first I thought Jake was just going to not give into my demands at all, especially when he pulled slightly out of my arms. But soon, he sent the guard a little further away and I was able to slowly kiss my mate. My body was so hungry for him, but I held myself in check. I wanted to take things slow, to savor everything about him. Nearly losing my life and being without my mate for so long, made me appreciate Jake so much more. Once he pulled back again and began to dig out some food of the bag I decided if I wanted my pet to take me serious then I would need to do a few things to keep him happy. "I love you too my sweet" Smiling as I picked at some of the meat on the plate and tossed it into my mouth. As I chewed I realized that I am one lucky son of a bitch. Jake meant what he said about loving me. He stayed with me and helped in nursing me back to my old self. Of course there was still a lot of healing left. After I swallowed the food I had been chewing, I reached out and took Jake's hand in mine Mate....? Whispering softly I just wanted you to know that I honestly, and truly will try to be a better man for you, but please have patience for me...ok?

    Listening to his master he turned his head to look at him. Where was all this coming from? Curious now he pecked his lips Are you okay? Where is all this coming from? Do you feel you have not been a good man to me master? Jake moved from him just a little to make the plates. He made Maxim a little bag so he would not be hungry while here. Giving his master the plate of food he looked at him. I will be patient with you master. I know you are still healing and then there is the revenge I know you and Dayne will do. I will be here worried but ill be here for you once you are back. Reaching up he took his left hand and caressed his master's face. I love you, Matre. So much. I know you love me. In your own way, I know you love me very much. Smiling at him he tilted his head and then stood up. Come, let's just forget everything and have a little fun. Grinning he held his hand out to his mate.

    I understood why Jake asked me if I was ok. This was sort of out of character for me to sound so..well so..lovey dovey as humans would say. I was not the mushy type, but my soul knew if I did not explain some of these feelings to Jake I might loose him In the past I know, I ummm.. Why did I have to act so tongue-tied around my pet? I was the dominate one and he should submit to me no matter what. Yet here I was seeking his approval along with anything else he would throw at me Jake I know I have not always been the best person and everyone in your family knows it... Before I could say any more Jake cut me off. I leaned into his caress, listening to him assure me that he loved me and he knew that I cared for him in the same way. I had the urge to pull him into my arms and hold him the rest the night just like this, but my sweet, adorable, loving pet had other things on his mind. At least I would never be bored around him. Jake always found a way to surprise and keep me on my toes, and even when I grumbled he knew exactly how to make me laugh and enjoy my life as it should be

    When his mate took his hand and stood up he grinned at him. You need a little fun in your life mate. This playground will do just that. Grinning he pulled him to the playground and let go of his hand. Climbing up the ladder he stood at the top and laughed Come on, mate! I promise you will laugh at least once. Now waiting for him he hurried through the tunnel that rounded and slides down the slide laughing. His master was looking at him with his brows raised. "My pet, I am not going to go down the slide." Then let's swing on the swings. I bet I can go higher than you old man. Jake knew that would get his master. "Challenge accepted!" Jake laughed and ran over getting on the bigger swing and began to swing. His master got on one and it took him a few long minutes to figure it out. Jake laughed. Oh Boy, you need practice mate! Laughing to his masters growling he swung higher and higher. Come on its fun. Just relax. Jake could hear him mumbling about a kurjan on a swing and in a playground and if this got out he would never hear the end of it. "I am winning!" Jake let the swing fly up and jumped off turning to his master. I suck and yes you won. Come on go up the ladder with me. We can make out at the top. His master jumped off the swing almost falling. Jake laughed and so did his master. That a laugh? Race you up the top. He took off top speed climbing the top and stopped short seeing his mate there already. Ho.. how did you... "I am much older and faster pet." He pulled Jake into his arms and kissed him then chuckled. "This is fun thank you." I figured after what you been through and training to get back to normal we could use a little fun. So its kids fun but still fun. Agree? Gives him his sexy smile.

    Jake must be crazy if he thought I was going to get on the slide and slip down it just like him, but I had to admit the smile on his face and the way his eyes lit up was beautiful. My mate surprised me daily and if I truly admitted it to myself I loved it. But around the other Kurjans I was only the fierce trainer and never would show them a soft side. That was reserved for my pet only. I reluctantly followed Jake to the swings. Swearing as I tried to get the damn thing to do what I wanted. His laughter lightened my soul, and soon found myself making the torturous device move in the same way my pet was making his. No matter how much I grumbled about my situation I was actually happy to share this time with my mate. When Jake challenged me to a race at the top of the ladder with a reward of his body at the top, immediately I jumped off the swing. I stumbled but at least I didn't fall on my ass. Now this was going to be easy and I would have my pet in my arms again. The surprise on the boy's face when I beat him there made me chuckle softly. Reaching out, I pulled my pet into my arms and kissed him proudly. The smile on Jake's face melted my heart and I nodded as my arms held tight to his waist. Yes, sweet one. This was fun. Of course having you in my arms for a make out session is the bonus. How do you say it? Bonus on top of the cake?. Jake laughed as he leaned forward and rubbed his nose against mine. Now lets get down to business, pet. Its time for me to show you just how much I missed your naked body in my arms.*

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack.
