* I continued to mumble under my breath as I turned and walked away from the male. My thoughts were jumbled and it took me a few minutes to find fresh salmon, I was impressed they had it. I walked to the front of the store where the cashiers were and held my breath when I noticed the male carrying his groceries out. Our eyes met and held for a second. I bit my bottom lip when he gave me a sexy smirk before pushing the door open with his back side and then he was gone. * "Did you find everything you were looking for? Ma'am?" * I looked at the cashier and she was looking towards the door that the male had just walked through. She turned back to me with a smile. * "Ah, he's a good looking male, huh?" * I shook my head dispelling all thoughts of him. * What? No. And yes I found what I needed. Thank you. * The female smiled and continued to ring up my items. * "You're new, right? How do you like our little town?" * I smiled at her. * I really haven't explored it too much. But I plan on calling it home for now, living with my sister and brother while I finish school in Minot. * I looked at the females name tag and it read Piper. She was young and I hoped that maybe I might have met a friend. * Well welcome! It's nice to see some new faces. Your total is $63.71." * I handed her cash and she gave me change. I thanked her and headed out to the car, placing my bags in the back. I drove straight back to Julian's house and the male had snuck back into my thoughts. I was able to bring the bags into the house in one trip. I rubbed my ass, it still stung from the fall. * "What's wrong with your ass? And I why did you leave without me, I told you I wanted to go." * Startled, I rounded on my sister, I never even heard her. * Kunshi, sawagashikunai yo! Anata wa watashi o kowagara seta.     * Laughing I stepped up beside her and started to carry the cold stuff to the refrigerator. * What did you do? Fall out of the car? * She huffed. * "No! Some guy ran into me at the grocery store and I stumbled back losing my balance, resulting with me on my ass on the hard floor. I swear he was made of stone his chest was hard." * I looked at her questioningly. * It wasn't intentional right? You don't think this could be one of Senichi's goons? * Kaiyo looked at me shocked and I hated bringing up the alpha. * "No, not unless he's hiring American's to hunt us down or follow us. The cashier seemed to know him, and he bought a lot of groceries. So I think he probably lives here with his family. But..." * I listened closely, I know that Senichi sending someone after us was a real threat.     * I was putting the seasonings in the cupboard and began to ramble, before I realized Kimiko had just baited me. * Well, he had big hands, brown eyes with flecks of gold, hair that your fingers just itched to run through. Like I said his chest was solid. * I turned and faced my sister and she was smiling at me. * "You like him!" * My eyes went big. * WHAT? NO! * Kimiko laughed. * "You do! Awe, my little sister has her first real crush!" * Kimiko, he knocked me on my ass! * Her smile got bigger. * "Hmm, yes he did. * Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
