Grabbing a hold of the door, I saw her out the corner of my eye. My stomach caught and my head fully turned to watch her put her bags into the trunk and get in. When I could not see her car anymore I walked into the barber shop to get my hair cut. "Right on time, Reese! Just cleaned off the chair. How are you today? Take a seat." Thanks, John. Taking my seat, I was trying to clear my head. I am doing just fine. "You sure? You seem a little out of it." John knew how I liked my hair and he got to work on it. You ever meet anyone that drives you crazy in both ways? "Both ways?" I tried to nod but he would not let me. Yeah as in they drive you crazy and they drive you crazy with cuteness. John smiled at him in the mirror. "Aww, seem like someone has a crush. Are you talking about that cutie I saw you staring at outside?" When he said that I wanted to tell him to watch his mouth but hell I had no idea how to handle this. She is just cute. I only saw her twice. Yup, I was definitely denying it. "So you saw her twice and she is getting under your skin this bad?" No.. I mean yes, I mean.. shit. I don't know. John laughed and he laughed hard to the point he had to bend over. "Oh man, you. You have it bad." I had nothing to say. What was there to say? Part of me liked her. Part of me was saying no no no. I had no idea what to do. Nothing. I was going to do nothing. Work and go on my way. Nothing but a small crush. This was a small town but unless she came into the bar again I'm sure I would not see her for a long while and by then everything will be out my system. Just a little crush, I probably won't see her again. John chuckled and finished my hair. Checking it out I paid and tip the man before standing. Thank you. "You are welcome, Reese. As for this crush. Be careful, crushes can become the most important ever" Yeah I was afraid you were going to say that. Thanks, man. See you in a few weeks. With that, I left and put on my glasses. Checking the time, I had just enough to go home put my groceries away and eat then head to work.
