* The night was forever long, sleep eluded me. My mind thinking over the information I had gotten out of the letters. Suddenly my nightmare's made more sense. I can't believe Senichi tried to use me as a weapon to kill the one person that could take everything away from him. Who am I kidding, yes I can. That's all I've ever done is taken care of his threats or those that stood in the way of something he wanted. I was a fool, but what choice did I have. After all he made due on his promise, I now believe that it was Senichi who killed my mother, or at the least he had one of his goons do it for him. I tried not to cry anymore, my eyes burned from all the tears. But damn him he has taken so much from me. My biological family, the family that raised me. My eyes moved over to where my sister was asleep on my bed. I was all that +Kaiyo Nakatomi had left and I would do everything I can to protect her. I wasn't sure how things would go with +Julian Takumi. Would he remember me? Or did his memories fade like mine did? Would he even want me in his life after so many years of separation? And then the one person I didn't want to think about came to mind. My heart seized when I thought of +Takahiro Yanahi DPI. I let my guard down around him and let him get to close. A part of me didn't believe that he would actually harm me. Was he that good of a actor? That I didn't pick up on him playing me. I looked at the clock and it read 5:00 in the morning. I was expecting my new car by seven and was hoping to be at the clinic when the doors opened. I'd make sure we got Kaiyo's stitches out and then I would hand Julian the papers from his grandfather, our grandfather. And we would see what happens from there. And then I had to find Takahiro. *

    I had just finished up with Francis Johns. I wasn’t an OB-GYN but I was all we had. Your baby is doing well. Continue to take the prenatal vitamins and get as much rest as you can. She nodded. “I’ll do my best but with my mate away I’m all there is to watch my little boy.” I’ll speak with Rachel. Maybe she knows someone that can help you. I picked up her chart then helped her stand. We moved down the hall and I noticed that the females that were here from the day of the attack. Nodding over at them, I turned to Rae. Mrs. Johns needs some help at her home with her other child. Do you know someone that can help? Rae smiled. “I believe so. Who’s with your son now?” My mate arranged for one of the neighbors to watch him but she has three kids at home and can’t do it all the time.” I looked at the two females and Rae said. “They don’t have an appointment but your morning isn’t full.” Okay, I’ll get them. “I didn’t see a chart.” It’s still in my office. I meant to file it but haven’t gotten to it. I moved to stand by the females and smiled. Good morning! Why don’t you follow me and we’ll remove those sutures. They looked at each other then stood to follow me.

    * The same familiar tingle, tickled my senses like it had the couple of times before when we had been in the same area. I wondered if he felt it too or if it was a one sided thing. Kaiyo and I followed him back to one of the exam rooms. * "Thank you for seeing me Doctor, after all the excitement the other day, it slipped my mind to make an appointment." * He motioned for Kaiyo to sit on the table and he sat on the stool. * "It's no trouble really, that was definitely an off day. Let's take a look at your hand." * I sat in the empty chair and observed him as he worked. I took in his facial features, his eyes, the way he moved and talked. * "Your hand looks good. Let me just step out for a minute to grab your chart and a sterile suture removal kit." * He stood and walked out. I took a breath, I didn't realize I was holding. * "I can sense your nervousness, Kim. Calm down." * The door opened back up and Dr. Takumi came back in. He washed his hands and then carefully opened the kit. He put the gloves on and then set back down. He looked up at Kaiyo. * "This shouldn't hurt, just relax and I'll have these out in no time." * Kaiyo nodded and I could see how she relaxed. He was gentle, but quick at taking the stitches out. * "Okay, I see no reason why this shouldn't heal completely. I'll walk you girls out." * I stood quickly. * Wait! * Julian looked at me. * Um, I don't really know how to say this, but... * I held out my hand that held the letters in them. He looked at them and then at me questioningly. * "What's this?" Letter's that I came across that may impact your life. * I was nervous and my voice was shaking. He looked at the envelopes and back at me slowly taking them. * I understand that you can't read them now, but once you do, If you have any questions. I wrote our address and phone number on one of the envelopes. * "Um, okay." * He motioned for us to head out and we walked to the reception area, I turned to face him once we were out there. * Please, read them. * I pleaded with him, hoping he would understand how important it was. I heard the door slam open and we all looked towards the entrance. +Takahiro Yanahi DPI​ came storming in, he stopped for a second and locked eyes with me. I gasped. He was just as shocked to see me as I was him, but then it changed to anger. He pulled a sword and I moved to stand between him and everyone else. * Taka, īe! (Taka, No!)

    I didn’t know what the hell was going on. One minute Kimiko was asking me to read what was in the envelope she’d given me and the next her crazy ass mate was trying to come at me with a sword. I stood, watching as he ran at me. I was about to pull Kimiko and Kaiyo out of the way when Kimiko raised her hands and her mate froze. I looked to Rae, nodding slightly, giving her the signal to call for help. I watched as her hand moved slowly to the button under her desk. I knew the guards would be there momentarily and I wanted answers. What’s going on here? And how is killing me going to keep them safe. The male looked at me, anger and hatred coming off him in waves but he didn’t say anything. A moment later his sword arm dropped and he took a step towards me. I was about to pull the females out of the way when the guards came in from every direction. “Don’t move! Takahiro turned around, raising his sword again and a taser sparked and he dropped to the floor. “Taka, no.” Kimiko screamed and moved to go to her mate but her sister pulled her back. We watched as the guards chained Takahiro, picked him up and took him away. “What the fuck was that all about?” Both females turned to look up at Beck as he walked in with Cole. I’m still trying to figure it out. All I know is he said he had to kill me to save them. Kimiko looked at me. “Please, just read what’s in the envelope.”

    * I wanted to ask my sister what the hell kind of power she possessed in her hands to freeze Takahiro the way she did, but this wasn't the time. I was physically holding onto Kim to stop her from going after Takahiro. Not only did he need time to settle down, but apparently shit was about to get real here. * "What the fuck was that all about?" * I jumped and Kimiko and I both turned to look at the male with the booming voice. * "I’m still trying to figure it out. All I know is he said he had to kill me to save them." * Kimiko faced Julian. * "Please, just read what's in the envelope." * Kimiko was practically begging him. I know that she didn't want to just blurt everything out. She wanted him to come across the realization gradually that they were siblings. * Kim turned back around to face the large male who was still waiting for an answer. * "Please, sir. I'll tell you everything. All I ask is that you don't hurt Takahiro until you hear our story and that you understand that my sister is no part of this." * The male glared at her and his nostrils flared. And I hated to admit it, but he scared the hell out of me. * "I don't owe you anything, but something tells me this is going to be an interesting conversation. We'll go to the station and use one of our interrogation rooms. If you try to flee, I'll have you killed on the spot." * I gasped and Kimiko nodded. He looked at one of his guards. * "Take them to the station, Cole and I will meet you there once we make sure everyone is okay here." * The male latched onto Kimiko's arm and she went without a fight. I turned towards the doctor, just as another male stepped up to me. * You're going to want to hear this, your involved in this more than you know. * The doctor gave me a confusing look but then turned to his receptionist who was now standing with who I assumed was the alpha and a hulking guard. The alpha talked to her in a low voice, he tucked a hair behind her ear. She nodded answering a question. Then I noticed the other male that came in with the alpha, gently kiss the forehead of a blonde who was wearing scrubs. I hadn't noticed her before now, but it was apparent that she worked here. * "Rae, reschedule the rest of my day please and then lock up when you leave." She nodded and he turned his attention to the blonde. * "Jules." * She looked over at him. * "I'll clean the rooms and prepare them for tomorrow. I'm sure it will be a busy day." * He thanked her and looked back to me. * "I'll see you at the station." * I nodded and followed my sister out the front door of the clinic. The other male had climbed into her SUV, so I climbed into the back and we quietly drove to Police Station. I prayed that everything turned out okay. *

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver.
