* We had pasted flyers in shop windows, restaurants, the clinic and any other place imaginable. For our first official Community Service Project. A night for parents to drop their kids off with us, so they could go Christmas shopping, go on a date or even to just go back home and enjoy the quiet for a few hours. We were all scared and excited. And right now was about the time we realized we had gotten ourselves in way over our heads. As we watched at least 20+ kids have a snowball fight out in the field adjacent from the church that was willing to let us use it’s recreational building later. I ducked quickly as a snowball flew at me only to turn around and see that it had hit Raechel, right in the face. All movement stopped as each kid and adult gasped and stared. Raechel, slowly wiped the slush and snow off her face, she looked irritated and we all waited to see what the female Alpha was going to say. She looked over at Meghan, Jules and me. * “Ladies, I think it’s time we teach these kids what a real snowball fight is.” * The three of us breathed a sigh of relief and then grabbed snow and started throwing snowballs at any kid within throwing distance. The field erupted with giggles and screams as we ran amok, lofted snowballs and just had fun. I noticed as Tyler, Rocky, Jasper and Jackson, chuckled and shook their heads. We weren’t expecting trouble, but you could never be too careful. *

    * The other females and I threw snowballs and ran around with the children. Thomas played with his friends, making a snow fort and pretending they were enforcers. There were giggles and screams, running, throwing snowballs, making snow angels. It was fun and we were all thrilled so many had turned out to leave their children with us so they could run their errands and other things. It was getting colder and starting to snow. I suggested we round up all of the kids and head inside. Thomas told me he was hungry, some of the other kids chimed in that they were hungry too. Chloe suggested we order pizza and we laughed when a chorus of "Pizza! Pizza!" broke out.* Well, I guess they want pizza. * Meghan was already on the phone ordering while Jules, Chloe and I got all of the kids something to drink.*

    * I didn't protest when Rae suggested we go inside. I love the snow and cold, but in moderation and I was hitting my limit. I helped usher the kids inside the recreational hall, we had cranked up the heat knowing we would all need it once we came in. We had the kids take off their wet boots, hats, gloves and coats and place them against the wall. And now that we had decided on pizza for supper Rae, Chloe and I were making hot chocolate for the kids and we started the movie Elf for them to watch while we waited for pizza and warmed up. *

    * I met the pizza delivery guy at the door and held it open for him as brought the food in. Raechel and Chloe helped him set them out then, Rae paid him. After he was gone we made sure all the kids had the pizza they wanted and were seated. There was quiet chatter among the kids and they were all being so good. I grabbed a piece of pizza and sat by Chloe. It was the first time in quite a while that we were together. I bumped her with my shoulder and smiled.* How's everything going? * She shrugged one shoulder. " We're getting there. How about you and Ian?" It was my turn to shrug.* He no longer acts like he hates me but, he's still in the guest room. * She hugged me and I hugged her back, whispering how much I missed her.*

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. And I will not allow it. * She was sobbing now. * I just wanted Julian. I just wanted him to love me! * I shook my head. * He doesn't feel the same, Mia. The last female like you caused a lot of hurt as well and she almost killed members of my pack. I cannot stand by and let this happen. I will not. You broke trust. And you crossed the line thinking you could seduce me. * She hit her knees. * Alpha, please! Give me another chance! I will stay away from Julian! I'll do anything, ANYTHING to make this right. Just please, don't banish me!! * I shook my head as I gave the signal to be let out. * You'll be escorted out tomorrow morning. You will have exactly two hours to pack and clear out your things. * She was still sobbing. * Where will I go? * I stepped out of the cell. * I don't know, Mia, nor do I care. But you won't be here. And I shouldn't have to tell you that if you attempt to come back to McGregor land, you'll be killed on the spot. * I slammed the bars closed. * I hope that you take this chance and become a better person. Perhaps find a pack that will accept you. * She hit the bars, screaming. * I don't need you or your fucking pack! I didn't act alone! And everyone knows that the only reason you won't banish the others is because of who they mated and your mate is one! * I growled. * You know nothing of what I will do. Don't push me, Mia. It's too easy for me to have you executed. And it'd be supported. * I left her screaming behind me as I made my way back upstairs. I was due to meet with Jules, Meghan and Chloe in an hour. I wanted to be done with this whole thing so I could move on. I had bigger issues to deal with and this was just pissing me off. I left Mias file for Cole to finish up and then headed to my office for round two. *
