Ian Holder​​​ and I were in my office working on a plan to get the girls bar back open. It had been closed far too long and the town was getting restless. The doors needed to open and soon. I had been paying the employees even though it was closed because they were good workers and I didn't want to lose them. Ian was checking the liquor and beer as I went over the food supplies. I think it's best if we got rid of the frozen food and buy fresh. Maybe give anything still edible to a church or food bank. Ian looked up from what he was reading to nod his agreement. “We also need to order more booze. We were due for an order but all hell broke loose and shit got real.” Okay that's not a problem. I have some contacts in New York, people I've been dealing with for years. It won't be a problem to get something here by tomorrow night. Sitting back in my chair, I grinned as we heard Chloe and Meg move around the house, getting ready to get in the hot tub. I can make a call and get shit on the way plus get one of my managers out here. I have a few shifters working for me and it would be better than bringing in a human. “With Beck and Slade away you would have to run that by Cole. He and the other enforcers are in charge while our Alpha and Beta are looking for their niece.” I nodded and sat back in my chair.. Not a problem. I need to check in with Cole anyway. I told Beck I would help out while he was gone. Ian nodded as we continued to listen to our mates. “By the way, I wanted to thank you for suggesting we stay so the girls could spend some time together. Meg has been so worried about Chloe. Now she can see for herself that things are okay.” No thanks needed. Chloe has been worried about Meg too. It's going to do them both good to be with each other.

    I waited until they both sat down, and leaned forward, my elbows on my knees. So, what's going on? I heard we had some new people in town. Margaret over at the diner let me know. Nothing stays quiet in this town for long, hell even my sister Rae asked when she called this morning. Since she's the Alpha female, she asked me to check them out. Now, I heard about the ability you both have, and I would greatly appreciate you coming with me to meet the newcomers. Ian can even say he wants to make sure everything is good with the house. *I sat back and looked at them both. * Will that work for you two?

    I opened my beer and took a long pull before answering him. I can do that. I told Beck I'd help wherever I was needed. Cole nodded then turned to Ian, watching as he drank, waiting to see what he had to say. "Yeah, I'll go. I don't want shit to get out of hand again. Its time we started taking a more active role." I agreed with that. Shut had been getting real around here more and more. It was time to get out town back to the safety it had when Beck took over. He was a fantastic alpha and he was good for this place. That bastard Drake and his fucking family had turned this place to shit and we didn't need anything else to go wrong. It was time to let everyone know that we would protect this town. I looked at Cole. When do you want to head over and check them out?

    * Cole thought for a moment before answering. * "Let's give them a couple days to get comfortable. We can watch their movement from a distance. I'll put the word out to the other enforcers to keep an eye out for them." * Vincent and I both nodded before Cole looked at me and spoke up again. * "What can you tell me about this couple?" * I took a drink. * Not a lot really. I had a background check ran on both of them and they came back clean. It's a newly wed couple from Japan. Brody approached me about renting out the house and I pretty much let him handle the details, I didn't want to deal with it, I needed to be with my Meg. Even now I hate to be away from her for too long. * Cole nodded. * "I know how you both feel. I went through the same thing with my Jules not long ago. She's a tough girl, pretty much just bounced back from it, but it's hard to leave her when I have to patrol. And though I'd never admit it to her, I'm glad she's never gone back to work." * I smirked and nodded. * Consider yourself lucky, Meg is bugging me to let her get back to the bar. So Friday, mid morning the three of us head to check out the new couple? * They both agree'd and the three of us stood, Vincent and I headed towards my pickup. * "I'll pick you two up at Vincent's?" Vincent it turned around. * "I suppose it seems silly the 4 of us living under the same roof, but it's best for our mate's right now and they are better protected." * Cole shrugged his shoulders. * "We'll do what ever we have to for our females. It's not silly at all. See you both on Friday." * Vincent and I both jumped into the pickup and I fired it up. Waving to Cole, we took off towards Vincent's place. *

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink. I didn't allow it. * And I dont need someone of your calibre in my pack. * That got her attention. * What do you mean? * I shrugged. * Exactly what I just said. I'm banishing you, Mia. * Tears filled her eyes. * Beck...I mean, Alpha, sir....please. * I steeled myself against her pleas. * I don't trust you. In fact, you attempted to seduce me, which means you will stop at nothing to get what you want. I have yet to determine what exactly that is. But its detrimental to my pack. And I will not allow it. * She was sobbing now. * I just wanted Julian. I just wanted him to love me! * I shook my head. * He doesn't feel the same, Mia. The last female like you caused a lot of hurt as well and she almost killed members of my pack. I cannot stand by and let this happen. I will not. You broke trust. And you crossed the line thinking you could seduce me. * She hit her knees. * Alpha, please! Give me another chance! I will stay away from Julian! I'll do anything, ANYTHING to make this right. Just please, don't banish me!! * I shook my head as I gave the signal to be let out. * You'll be escorted out tomorrow morning. You will have exactly two hours to pack and clear out your things. * She was still sobbing. * Where will I go? * I stepped out of the cell. * I don't know, Mia, nor do I care. But you won't be here. And I shouldn't have to tell you that if you attempt to come back to McGregor land, you'll be killed on the spot. * I slammed the bars closed. * I hope that you take this chance and become a better person. Perhaps find a pack that will accept you. * She hit the bars, screaming. * I don't need you or your fucking pack! I didn't act alone! And everyone knows that the only reason you won't banish the others is because of who they mated and your mate is one! * I growled. * You know nothing of what I will do. Don't push me, Mia. It's too easy for me to have you executed. And it'd be supported. * I left her screaming behind me as I made my way back upstairs. I was due to meet with Jules, Meghan and Chloe in an hour. I wanted to be done with this whole thing so I could move on. I had bigger issues to deal with and this was just pissing me off. I left Mias file for Cole to finish up and then headed to my office for round two. *
