* I closed the bedroom door behind me, leaning on it, I closed my eyes. How was I supposed to live under the same roof as +Takahiro Yanahi DPI. Every time he looked at me his eyes bore into me as though he could see deep into my soul and knew all my secrets. It unraveled me and made me feel vulnerable. No one has done that to me before. I shook my head and opened my eyes. I had to forget about him and start thinking of the mission ahead. I had to remember what Senichi was capable of if I didn't do my job. I snapped out of my daze and grabbed my suitcase, flinging it onto the bed I unzipped it and made quick work of hanging up my clothes and impressed with how clean everything was I placed my intimates into the dresser drawers. I hid my swords under the mattress on the bed and picked out fresh clothes to put on after my shower. Walking into the bathroom I helped myself to a towel and washcloth, turned the shower on and then slipped off my clothes. The bathroom was spa like. A nice soaking tub, a large shower with tile on three sides and glass on the fourth. Double sinks with lots of counter space. Grabbing my shampoo, conditioner, body soap and oil, I stepped under the spray of the steaming water and let it slowly relax me and then took my time cleaning up. *

    As I unpacked I could hear the shower in Kimiko's room. I could picture her, naked under the spray, her firm body wet, soapy. I shook my head to clear the image but, the hard on I was sporting now made it hard..literally. I busied myself with hiding my weapons around the spacious room. That helped plus, knowing that Senichi would blow a gasket if Kimiko and I did get together. Our world was so traditional, so ridged. I wanted nothing to do with most of tjr old ways but, for now I would do only what was needed. I had all of my things unpacked. I thought about a shower but put it off and just changed my shirt. It would be dark soon and we needed to go to town for food and other supplies. With that in mind I left my room and headed to the kitchen to check it out and wait on Kimiko.

    * Once out of the shower, I dried off, combed my hair out and pulled it back into a ponytail. After putting a little makeup on, I walked into the room and grabbed some clothes and got dressed. I grabbed my purse and walked out to the kitchen where I found Takahiro looking in the cabinets. * Find any boogeymen? * He turned a smirk on his face. * "No, just wanted to see how equiped the kitchen was. About time you got ready." * I shrugged. * Beauty takes time. * I turned on my heel and headed towards the door. * I'm starving, let's eat! * I could hear Takahiro's footsteps fall in behind me. He grabbed the keys to the SUV and closed the door behind us. It was still daylight out but you could tell the sun was on its downward descent. We both hopped inside the SUV and he started it out and backed out of the drive. * "What are you hungry for?" * I bit my lip, pondering. I had never been to the United States, I was excited to try their different foods, but I really didn't know where to start. * I have no idea, you choose. * He nodded and drove back into the small town of McGregor, the rental house wasn't even a mile away but it was still a private place from the town. We came up on a small pizza place and Takahiro looked at me, I shook my head no and he continued to drive. Then we came up onto a small little cafe that looked so inviting. * Let's try this place tonight!

    The cafe was small and didn't jave many cars out front but, it did look nice. I parked and we got out, Kimiko waited for me at the door and being a gentleman, I opened it for her. A little bell over the door rang and Kimiko laughed, I shook my head as the few townsfolk turned to look at us. I smiled and nodded before directing jer to a booth. We sat down and a older female brought us menus. Her nametag said Margaret. She smiled and asked if we were passing through or new in town. I told her we had just moved here and she welcomed us very excitedly. She told us what the specials were and took our drink orders. She told us to take our time and she'd be back to take our order. Kimiko looked through the menu, her smile growing as she basically read the thing to me. I liked how excited she seemed, and happy. It made her beautiful face light up. I set my menu down, listening as she continued to read. So, what sounds good? A burger, Cheeseburger? Fries?

    * I looked over my menu at Takahiro and he stared at me with a smile on his face. His eyes had a twinkle in them and I was struck silent for a second by how handsome he was. Finally after feeling my cheeks warm, I broke the silence. * What? * Takahiro laughed. * "Nothing, it's just nice to see you let your guard down and enjoy something new. * There was a cough and we both looked up at Margaret as she smiled slightly and set our drinks down. * "So what will you two kids be having tonight?" * Takahiro waited for me to answer. I looked at the menu one more time. * I'd like the fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans! * The nice lady looked over at Takahiro and he agreed to the same meal. * I'll have your supper for you in just a few minutes. She gathered our menus and left us. I looked around the quiet cafe, the interior was decorated simple, but homey. * "So afterwards, we'll grab some groceries for the house?" * I took a sip of my drink and nodded. * That sounds like a good idea. Then tomorrow we can start our mission. Scope the town out, find our target. * Takahiro set back as Margaret approached the table and set down a large plate in front of both of us. My eyes lip up when I saw how much food set in front of me. Margaret laughed. * "I could tell that was going to be a lot of food for you. You're such a tiny thing, keep coming here and I'll help plump you up!" * Takahiro laughed and thank her for our meals. * "If you two love birds need anything else just holler." * I went to correct her, we were most definitely not a couple when I felt a sharp kick to my shin. I glared at Takahiro as he agreed that we would most certainly do that. When she was out of hearing distance I went to speak when he spoke up first. * "Kim, it would be easier if the town people thought we were a couple. Even Senichi said so. On the lease for the house he even told them we were married." * I huffed, said nothing and turned my attention to my food. I took a bite of the mashed potatoes and gravy and moaned, closing my eyes as I savored the taste. * "That good, huh?" * I didn't answer and just continued to eat. *

    There could be nothing more beautiful than Kimiko enjoying her food. We weren't used to eating like this, and it was quite good. We ate in silence, both of us cleaning our plates. Margaret took our empty plates and asked if we were interested in dessert. I declined, stating I was more than full but, when Margaret mentioned Apple pie with ice cream, Kimiko's eyes lit up and she said she'd loved to try it. I chuckled and Kimiko gave me a glare which only made me chuckle more. Kimiko ignored me as soon as the pie was set in front of her. The first bite had her grinning as she savored it. " This is very good! The apples are warm and the ice cream..I could eat this every day!" Could she be any cuter? When she was done, she sighed happily, something I'd never seen her do. Are you ready to go, or would you like some more? * Kimiko patted her belly and shook her head. Margaret brought our check and I paid her, leaving her a large tip. I thanked her and escorted Kimiko back out to the SUV. Once inside I pulled out and drove down to the only market in town. I parked and turned to Kimiko.* Are you ready to shop now? I could leave you here to nap. * She smacked my arm and I laughed as she got out. I took a moment to just watch her in the light of the setting sun before getting out and locking the doors. Together we headed inside the store.*

    * The market here was nothing like the market at home. I looked at Takahiro. * I have no idea what to even get. I should have taken American food cooking classes or something. * Takahiro smirked as he followed along beside me. * "Lucky for you this isn't my first time down this road. We'll have fun figuring it out together. I can make a mean cheeseburger on the grill." * I nodded as he took the lead in the store and followed him down the aisles. He picked out canned vegetables, bread cereals. I looked at him funny when he placed Cookie Crisp in the cart. * "What? Sometimes for breakfast you just need something sweet." * I smiled and turned towards the Honey Nut Cheerios. They looked yummy and would be a nice change to the normal grilled fish or miso soup that was normally prepared for me. I noticed that Takahiro grinned but said nothing. We made our way through the store and filled our cart. Only leaving when he was comfortable that we had enough food for a week. At the check out stand he tossed in a few candy bars, I was shocked when he grabbed my favorite. He smiled at me as he showed them to me. * "These are your favorite, right?!" * My heart thudded and I tried not to blush. * How did you know? * He placed them on the belt that moved the food to the cashier. * "Because I pay attention."

    Kimiko was beautiful when she blushed, even more so when flustered. She watched the cashier ring everything up and the teenage boy as he bagged it. I paid and pushed the cart containing our bags out to the SUV. Kimiko followed me and helped me load everything into the back. The ride home was quiet, Kimiko seemed lost in thought. I saw an ice cream shop in town, so perhaps while we are scouting things out we could go? * She smiled slowly. " That would be nice." I nodded, I liked making her smile. I pulled into the drive and parked. Kimiko was out of the SUV before I could say anything. She was opening the back and I joined her, grabbing a couple of bags. It didn't take us long to put everything away and when we were done Kimiko said she was going to bed. I told her good night and watched her go into her room. I stood there for a moment before going out onto the back deck. Standing there I looked up at the sky and in the quiet that surrounded me I wondered how I was going to get through all of this without falling in love with her.*

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first.
