I woke up feeling like something the cat dragged in. I tried to lift my head but pain tore through my eyes as if someone was stabbing the shit out of them. Just then I heard a girl's voice asking me if I was awake. Groaning I managed to answer yes through my parched lips. She laughed softly before saying she couldn't wait to kick me ass. Frowning I thought to myself what the hell, besides I already felt like hell maybe if I closed my eyes tightly this whole situation would just disappear. Luck was definitely not on my side. I could feel her fingers grasping my upper arm and shaking me. With a heavy sigh and a hand to my head to help steady the dizziness I was feeling, I sat up. Frowning when my eyes finally realized I was staring at girl who seemed to be in her teens. She smiled at me and introduced herself as Lacey. "Water please" I requested and wouldn't you know the girl had a bottle sitting next to her. She uncapped it before handing it to me. I swallowed every last drop of liquid before wiping the back of my hand across my mouth and thanking Lacey.

    I shook my head "No, no" I'm not doing this" Lacey look scared and whispered "It will be easier if you do. Hulk doesn't give anyone any mercy" Hulk now who the hell was Hulk? As the males neared us I glared at each and every one of them that Lacey introduced. She looked up at the dark skinned male known as Hulk and smiled so innocently. Oh yeah this kid was hooked on the huge shifter for sure for sure, but he didn't so much as glace at her. Instead he nodded in my direction and ordered me to shift. Well the shifter had another thing coming and it sure wasn't my obedience. I crossed my arms over my naked chest and growled. "I don't know who you think you are but I am not going to fight this girl or anyone. You had better let me go before my mate and his pack get here. And they will be searching for me. So if I were......" I didn't get any more words out of my mouth before the giant dark shifter raised one his arms and backhanded me across the face. Blood flew from my mouth and nose as I flew backwards and landed on my ass. Lacey booked over in my direction and helped me to stand. She begged me to do as Hulk said. Well he sure was as big as the green dude on TV, if not bigger. Once I was standing again I wiped my hand across my face to clear away some of the blood. The girl started to walk away but the big male grabbed a hold of her upper arm in a tight grip before he tossed her back in my direction. I caught Lacey by her shoulders as she stumbled back in my direction. I let out a howl as my wolf took over which caused me to shift from my human form to wolf. I already had enough of being abused in my past and since mating with Slade I had learned that I actually mattered in this world and I shouldn't let anyone harm me without putting up a fight.

    When I leaped onto the giant man we both fell backwards. Hulk's body hit the dirt with a loud thud. I wasn't so easily injured. Because well, I landed on a giant of a man. Before I could bite into the beast he had a hold of my throat gripped in both of his massive hands. He snarled back at me as I dug my claws into his chest and snapped my jaw near his face. Oh how I wanted to tear the shit out of this man for touching me. My idea of being the victor soon was short lived when I was attacked by not only the Bear named Griz but also a smaller wolf. Both of them bit into me and for a minute I thought they would tear me in two with the way they seemed to be fighting over who was going to get me off the wolf underneath me. Hulk managed to push me off him within no time at all since the other two came to his rescue. As I rolled away all I could think about is trying to find my way out of this hell hole before anything else happened. I had blood pouring from all the bite marks all over me, but that didn't stop my animal from rising to her paws as quickly as possible in order to survive because of adrenaline coursing through my veins. For sure I thought I was going to be killed today. Damn it why did I leave Slade? I am so damn stupid! I know he can find someone better than me, but now I am going to die without ever feeling his arms around me again. I tried not to let my thoughts cloud my mind too much. I needed to pay attention to my surroundings not to the swirling emotions from what I had done to split both of us apart.

    The others were either faster or I was slowing down from the blood loss. As I rounded the corner of a brick building I skidded to a stop when I was met with a ten foot high chain link fence. Shit! I quickly looked from side to side but there was no escape. Just more fence and the old building. When I turned around dirt came flying up towards me as Hulk and the others cornered me. My wolf was not happy being backed into a corner and wanted to attack. There were now at least ten of the beings from this crazy town who had gathered to help in my capture. Hulk smiled cruelly as he crossed his arms over his chest and the shifters around him snarled in my direction as if they were thirsting for my blood. "Well pup looks like you have two choices. You can either give yourself up or let us kill you, because we both know if you try and fight my friends and I will tear you limb from limb. What do you say to being a good girl for me" The giant of a man chuckled as he jingled a metal collar in one hand and a dark leather whip in the other. He was right I could either give up or be ripped to shreds. My head dipped down as my body shook against the coldness of the fence. There was no way I wanted to go through a whipping. I had enough of that kind of punishment when I lived with my father and the pack he was part of. The large man strode towards me leisurely before bending down and adjusting the collar around my neck. Whimpering in defeat as he was handed a long leash made up of the same material and attached it with a clink before dragging me along. "Since you want to act like an animal then you can stay an animal until you learn some respect around here" The angry male voice boomed as he drug me through the compound amid the laughing, pointing and jeering of the residents who gathered around to watch my humiliation.

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
