* It had been a couple weeks since we had visited with Greg, the contractor we had hired to build our house. After much discussion, +Cole Ross and I had chosen the perfect house.     * I chuckled to myself as I got into the truck. Jules little pout was so cute, yeah she had me tied around her little finger but I was good with that. I loved her more than anyone ever before, so she could do practically anything and I'd think it was cute. I was lucky she was a good female with a heart of gold. I drove us through town, waving at folks and just happy to be home. We meet Greg and his crew just outside of town. They agreed to follow us as I drove to the land. Jules was excited, bouncing in her seat and squealing when she saw all of the wildflowers in bloom all around where our home would be. I had to get out and open the gate that lead to our land. I pulled in a ways and parked. Jules and I got out as Greg and his crew pulled in. We went to the back of his truck with the plans and talked about which way we wanted the house to face. As soon as it was decided, Greg set his serveyors to mark the area to start digging.*

    * I was in shock in how fast everything was going down. Was the ground was surveyed and they were ready to start leveling the ground, Greg approached us with a shiny new shovel and a grin. Who want's to be the first one to break ground? I pulled out my phone, Cole was head of our house and I wanted to snap a picture of him while he did it. * You do it babe! * Cole looked at me. * "Are you sure? I mean all this is happening because of your family." * I shook my head. * Yes, I'm sure. Now Go! * Cole grinned and took the shovel walking into the area marked out for the house. He pushed the shovel into the earth and then angled it back, successfully getting a scoopful of dirt he tossed it a couple of feet in front of him and I cheered. The sound of the loader starting up only made it even more exciting! Greg motioned us back to his pickup. * "Okay, we're going to relocate that tree and then level out the ground. I've already sent the floor plans to my receptionist, she will get the order put in for the wood and building supplies and we should start building first thing next week." * I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face.*

    Jules was so excited, it made me happy and just as excited. I looked at the plans and had an idea. Greg? Would it be possible to build a safe room, underground with maybe a tunnel to leave, you know in case of inclement weather or a home invasion? * Greg thought it over and nodded. " Totally doable. I'll let my guys know. Just let me know where you want the door to be." I looked at Jules and she kind of shrugged.* How about from the kitchen? It's central and we can grab food and water if needed. Maybe the door can be hidden in the pantry? * Jules and Greg both nodded. Greg got on his radio and told his men they had some digging to do. He also said he'd send the revisions to his office. Jules and I thanked him and headed back to my truck to watch the digging.*

    * I took random pictures with my phone as the males began to dig and level out the ground. I knew mom and dad would love to see what we were doing. I hadn't mentioned it to them yet, but I knew they would approve. * "Should we head home, love?" * I nodded. There wasn't much to see now. * Mmmm, I think you should take me to the diner for lunch! * Cole grinned. * "How about we go to Crossroads Grille? We can celebrate! A big old juicy steak sounds delicious." * My stomach grumbled and my mouth watered. * We can be each other's dessert later. * I winked at him. He started the pickup up and fishtailed out of there, heading us in the direction of town. *

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink.
