I swiped the phone symbol and the phone rang, I watched Cullen as he talked to the attendant. Cara answered after the third ring. * Ashland? Why are you calling? You're supposed to be on your honeymoon. * I laughed. * Our flight was delayed till this morning, so we stayed at the Hilton in the honeymoon suite. Though I didn't do much exploration...if you know what I mean. * She laughed. * That good huh? * I giggled and then went into why I was calling. * You guys were too generous with the cash, but Cullen and I are thankful for you all. You're the only family we knew for a long time. So thank you. We made a deposit before we left yesterday...it went into the future planning account. We wanted to know how much we appreciate you big T and G.

    Oh honey, I've always thought of you and Cullen like you were my own kids. I'm very proud of you both. Talen and I just wanted to make sure you had a good honeymoon and a good start in life. Besides, it's not like the Kayr's family doesn't have money. * She sighed over the phone. * "It was so much though Cara. Thank you again though." So? Did you get Cullen to tell you where you are going on your honeymoon? * She growled and I couldn't help the giggle that bubbled up. * "No!" * She laughed. * "But that's okay, I like being surprised. Is everything okay at the Realm? You made a pretty quick exit." * I continued walking up the street as I visited, I was spending the morning on my own, well of course I had a shadow trailing me. * Yes, of course Talen and G whisked me off to the house so I was safely tucked away with Brack and Addicus keeping watch. Then they were gone for a couple hours dealing with the threat. I heard rumor it turned out to be a drunken brawl at the bar. Shifters, vampires. * I rolled my eyes sure Ash was doing the same. * And since G and Logan came with, I'm making them stay a couple days to see family. "I'm glad it wasn't more of a threat. Okay Cara, Cullen is heading towards me with his panty dropping smile. I better get off of here. Thanks again for the money, we love you all so much." We love you both too. Have a good time.

* Raechel Hadrian​​ was finally sleeping as I quietly dressed and left the house. I had to deal with Mia before I dealt with the females of the pack. I was still furious, but everything with Jordan McCormick​​ overshadowed it. I still needed to tell Mikaela Kieschnick​​. Maybe I'd call Damon Kieschnick​​ first. Let him decide the best way to tell her. She'd taken to Jordan right off the bat and I think Jordan had loved Mik too. I kicked the truck engine over and rubbed my hands together. It was cold and the sky was just turning a bright orange in the eastern sky. I didn't relish the tasks ahead. I put the truck in gear and headed into town. We didn't have a large police department. It was a few offices for Slade Michaels and Cole Ross, the other enforcers were directed by them. Slade and I had talked about bringing Vincent Gaines on, but it hadn't gotten any further when we were called to help Bianca. Now that the females had pulled the stunt they did, he may not stick around long enough for me to offer him the position. We had eight holding cells, each one made with reinforced silver. They stayed empty most of the time with the exception of a drunk or two needing to sleep off their drink. I parked in the space designated for me and made my way inside. * Alpha. * Bernice ran the front desk and she greeted me with a smile. * Good morning, Bernice. * She stood up. * You look tired, sir. * She handed me the file on Mia. This was a small town, she knew why I was here.
