Groaning softly as I blinked my dry eyes. They felt as if they were filled with sand. My head pounded to some steady painful rhythm that was not welcome. LIfting my head was one of the worst moves I could have made. Not only were things blurry but a sickening dizziness almost made me hurl all over the place. Breathing heavily I laid my head back down trying to make some sense of where I was and why in the hell I felt as if I was in some sort of accident. Looking down the length of my body I noticed my chest and stomach were wrapped tightly with some sort of gauze. There was spots of red and rust coloring that dotted the pure white bandages. What in the word happened to me? With a heavy sigh I closed my eyes and tried to think back, but my brain seemed to buzz and cause even more pain. Where was I and why was I so alone? When footsteps lightly tapped along the floor I turned my head slightly which only caused another stab of pressure to build up behind my eyes. Wincing, I raised a hand to my brow just as a woman's voice cheerfully greeted me. "Oh good you are finally awake. The doctor will be so pleased. We thought we might lose one of our best fighters" Frowning, I blinked a few times trying to rationalize what she was saying. What are you talking about and where the hell am I?

  1. I layed there in disbelief. What the doctor explained to me made no sense. Then again I couldn't remember shit or who I was so maybe it was possible. Was it true? So I was their best female fighter and was injured trying to protect myself. I scratched my chin and when I pulled my hand back I noticed dried blood under my finger nails. Yeah, I guess the doctor was right. He also warned me about my mate being killed and the pack that did it. That was the reason I fought so much. To learn what I could so when it was time to take out our enemies I would be ready to destroy them. I just hoped it didn't take me too much longer to heal, because I wanted to kick their asses. I would avenge my mate if it took the rest of my life to kill everyone of..McGregor..yeah I think that is the name of the pack I have to defeat. Now all I had to do was heal and fuck this pack if they weren't ready to attack those who killed my mate. I was going to soon. Smirking I closed my eyes as the song "seek and destroy" began to play in my head.

  2. I spent at least a week in the infirmary before I was allowed to get out of bed. That is, I was kicked out of there. I had been trying to leave but the doctors and nurses would not let me. Warning me that it was better to rest so I could heal properly. Not one person came to visit me, except of course if they were medical personnel. My body was itching to get out and I was slowly becoming claustrophobic. My wolf needed her freedom, not four walls surrounding her day in and day out. I walked around the grounds slowly, stopping every once in a while to catch my breath. A guard always walked within reach and kept asking me if I wanted to go back to the clinic. Hell no I didnt. If I was strong enough I would punch the giant asshole in the face and tell him to go bother someone else. Sure I was grumpy. I was injured and had a ugly ass man dressed in military gear following me around as if I was some sort of prisoner.

  3. When I saw the younger males and females training I stopped and leaned against one of the buildings to watch. The giant of a man that was ordering them around was such an jackass. The pups were young and shouldnt be pushed so hard, but they didnt whine or give up. Hell my father at least let me have some time to go out and be a kid even though he was a sadistic bastard in the end. With a heavy sigh I slid down the wall that was supporting me until my bottom landed on the cold ground. The guard moved closer and I growled loudly and told him to back off. The jerk just narrowed his eyes and surveyed the area while holding the automatic gun in his hands. Why did this place need weapons anyway? Were we constantly being hunted? Maybe that's how my mate got killed. Damn I wish I could remember who the hell I was and what happened in my past. It just seemed strange to me that I would live in a world like this.
